So does Cruz think God might urge a voter to vote for Hillary instead of Trump?.....or maybe not vote at all, thus resulting in better odds that Hillary will win? Does Cruz really believe this?

And you are quite perceptive. Ted is banking on hillary to win to further his own political career.

I bet that Ted’s own personal vote on November 8, will be for Clinton or Sanders.
