You seem like a good person to turn to for factual answers. Here’s my question: how does a reasonably intelligent person attain the age of 44 without knowing they are a Canadian citizen?
And how does that same 44 year old reasonably intelligent person also possess one of the most coveted law degrees in the world, clerk for the chief justice of the supreme court, serve for years as the solicitor general of Texas, and have his Canadian birth certificate in his own hands, and STILL not know he is a dual citizen of Canada?
THAT question turned me from a Cruz supporter to a Trump supporter back about Christmas time 2015.
