He was a citizen of the US since the day he was born.
And we have a lot of dead American soldiers in the Middle East that the ‘fool self-righteous’ conservatives forget.
Elections have consequences.
If you understand the severity of the consequences (as they clearly did by 2012);
abstaining from voting becomes a sin of omission.

For myself, the positions I can see Trump standing for are better than what Cruz offered, Trump's also a better candidate, plus he has the strength to beat the dems and not whither in the face of the democrat/media onslaught that will happen when he wins the general election.
Cruz doesn't appear to have the capacity to do any of those things.
I have come to doubt some of what is ‘conservative principle’.
I don’t think ‘free trade agreements’ are automatically conservative.
I don’t think open immigration is conservative at all.
I don’t think globalism is conservative at all.
I don’t think wars of culture change are conservative of any variety.
I don’t think national control of education is anything other than socialist.
And on and on...
He was Canadian citizen the day he was born.
To be a natural born citizen one must be born here of citizen parents.
Ted Cruz was born to a Cuban national father in Canada, making him a Cubanadian-American, not a natural born citizen.
It’s malarkey like this that makes Cruz, who has spent 99% of his life in DC (the other 1% was in the womb),a village idiot.

Expanding ethanol subsidies, tariffs, open to minimum wage hike, no SS reforms, spending, to name a few. Trump is excellent on immigration, SCOTUS, terrorism, taxes, and others.
