After laying a wreath in memory of Hiroshima’s war dead on Friday, President Obama called for an end to war; the elimination of nuclear weapons; a recognition that “every life is precious”; and a “moral awakening” among all nations and peoples.

“We must reimagine our connection to one another as members of one human race,” he said.

Obama said the souls of 100,000 Japanese men, women and children killed in Hiroshima “speak to us.” […]

“We can think of those things and know that those same precious moments happened here 71 years ago. Those who died — they are like us. Ordinary people understand this, I think. They do not want more war. They would rather that the wonders of science be focused on improving life, and not eliminating it.” …

Well, at least Obama admits he wants war, this time around. Especially through his perpetration of an “immoral awakening” and not mentioning aborted babies as alive.

Obama wants America to surrender.

To Islam and to Mexico.

In fact, he is pretty much demanding it in this speech.

His war is with us the serfs, a good place for him to start would be with the religion of peace.

“Ordinary People...Do Not Want More War”

But he’s extraordinary, perhaps explaining all the wars that he’s gotten us tangled into. Alternatively, in the spirit of the times, he doesn’t “identify” his little adventures as wars, so no worries.

Are we still in a moral malaise also?

By the way, doves have always been under the delusion that conservatives and hawks have some desire for war. A basic misunderstanding of fact by the libs. This is in addition to the fundamental flaw of the liberal mind in thinking that the desire of a good outcome is the be all and end all of good moral thinking.

Only the dead have seen the end of war.

There is a moral awakening going on against him and his cronies.

This from the prick whose wars and folly in the mid-east have caused the largest migration and refugee crisis since WWII???

How the hell does he get away with playing the peace-maker card?

Ordinary people seldom want war.

It is the profiteers and policians who cause most of them.

“We must reimagine our connection to one another as members of one human race,” he said.

He sounds like a globalist who wants one world government. I don't. It would be too easy for the wrong people to take over. I wonder who he wants in charge:

Remember the movie “Ordinary People,” with Donald Sutherland, Mary Tyler Moore, and Elizabeth McGovern in her first movie role? It was about just ordinary people who lived in a million dollar home and flew from New York to Houston to play golf. Just like you and me. LOL

War is Cruelty.

There is no use trying to reform it.

And the Curlier it is, The Sooner it will be over.

I don’t need lessons in morality from the pimp of death.
Who stood by while four Americans were slaughtered and
29 others were under attack in Benghazi? Who doubled the
number of casualties in Afghanistan to satisfy his own
politically correct version of warfare? Who abandoned Iraq
and opened the door for the most murderous Islamic terrorist
group yet?

Islam considers itself to be made up of the only true human beings.

There is a moral awakening going on against him and his cronies.

I'm not so sure. Look at the disturbing level of support for an obvious liar as the "D" candidate.

Obama is correct

However Leo Tolstoy wrote of an awakening among people that just led them to rise up in unison and have a war. Napoleon was the leader of those that rose up. So was Hitler. So was Tojo.

obama talked of history as a man that knows nothing of history. Peacemongers die

What does degenerate Obama know about morals?

Remember the poem he wrote in his youth, “His stains on my stains”
