I don’t think a novelist could have come up with anything more bizarre than what was going on with Sid. You also would think Obama/ValJar would be furious about him .... Hilly was specifically told she could not hire him & she used him as if she had (paying him from Clinton Foundation) as her own private intelligence department. I don’t know if the NSA will ever come clean on how Sid was getting that info - somebody was giving it to him. I also saw something from Sid the other day (he’s been really quiet since his testimony to the Benghazi committee) saying (of course) that there was nothing ‘there’ with what Hilly did with her emails. This, from a guy who is up to the top of his head (or should be) in trouble for what info he was exposing & the NSA source he was exploiting. The ‘truth’ of the matter, should it ever come out, is going to be fascinating & probably a little horrifying at the same time due to the level of compromise that has happened with Hilly herself & this NSA ‘mole’/Sid.

Blumenthal was a Clinton confidante long before Hillary Clinton went to work at Foggy Bottom. She appealed to the Obama administration to allow Blumenthal to join her staff as a speechwriter, but the request was declined. Blumenthal had developed a reputation as a partisan flamethrower – a fixer, of sorts, who was not above getting his hands dirty in order to protect the Clintons. Nevertheless, as Hillary Clinton’s secretive emails revealed, Blumenthal continued to work closely with Hillary Clinton, sent her numerous communications related to the sensitive ongoing workings of the American government, and was compensated for his performance.
Moreover, as it was alleged in this hearing and confirmed by Hillary Clinton, there were emails she received from Blumenthal related to intelligence matters that she forwarded to the president’s team for review, but they were stripped of the identifiers that would let the White House know that the information was coming from Blumenthal. Clinton contended that she did this merely in order to ensure that the intelligence was evaluated on its merits and not its source, but the more likely explanation is that it would have enraged the White House, which had blocked Blumenthal from serving on Clinton’s staff. In a sentence, Hillary Clinton misled the President of the United States on a matter related to the conduct of American foreign affairs and national security.

Sidney Blumenthal, a longtime confidant of Bill and Hillary Clinton, earned about $10,000 a month as a full-time employee of the Clinton Foundation while he was providing unsolicited intelligence on Libya to then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to multiple sources familiar with the arrangement.
Clinton, whose efforts to hire Blumenthal as an adviser at the State Department were rebuffed by top aides to President Barack Obama, last week defended her relationship with her old ally but also minimized his influence. Describing him as “a friend of mine for a long time,” Clinton, who also plans to testify before the committee, said “he sent me unsolicited emails which I passed on in some instances, and I say that that’s just part of the give and take.”
In his own statement last week, Blumenthal suggested that he did not write the memos on behalf of the foundation or any other entities with which he may have been associated, but rather as “a private citizen and friend” of Clinton’s.
Hillary’s Death Squads
A March 27, 2011, intelligence brief [archived here] on Libya, sent by long time close adviser to the Clintons and Hillary’s unofficial intelligence gatherer, Sidney Blumenthal, contains clear evidence of war crimes on the part of NATO-backed rebels. Citing a rebel commander source “speaking in strict confidence” Blumenthal reports to Hillary [emphasis mine]:
Under attack from allied Air and Naval forces, the Libyan Army troops have begun to desert to the rebel side in increasing numbers. The rebels are making an effort to greet these troops as fellow Libyans, in an effort to encourage additional defections.
(Source Comment: Speaking in strict confidence, one rebel commander stated that his troops continue to summarily execute all foreign mercenaries captured in the fighting…).
While the illegality of extra-judicial killings is easy to recognize (groups engaged in such are conventionally termed “death squads”), the sinister reality behind the “foreign mercenaries” reference might not be as immediately evident to most.
While over the decades Gaddafi was known to make use of European and other international security and infrastructural contractors, there is no evidence to suggest that these were targeted by the Libyan rebels.
There is, however, ample documentation by journalists, academics, and human rights groups demonstrating that black Libyan civilians and sub-Saharan contract workers, a population favored by Gaddafi in his pro-African Union policies, were targets of “racial cleansing” by rebels who saw black Libyans as tied closely with the regime.[1]
Black Libyans were commonly branded as “foreign mercenaries” by the rebel opposition for their perceived general loyalty to Gaddafi as a community and subjected to torture, executions, and their towns “liberated” by ethnic cleansing. This is demonstrated in the most well-documented example of Tawergha, an entire town of 30,000 black and “dark-skinned” Libyans which vanished by August 2011 after its takeover by NATO-backed NTC Misratan brigades.
These attacks were well-known as late as 2012 and often filmed, as this report from The Telegraph confirms:
After Muammar Gaddafi was killed, hundreds of migrant workers from neighboring states were imprisoned by fighters allied to the new interim authorities. They accuse the black Africans of having been mercenaries for the late ruler. Thousands of sub-Saharan Africans have been rounded up since Gaddafi fell in August.
It appears that Clinton was getting personally briefed on the battlefield crimes of her beloved anti-Gaddafi fighters long before some of the worst of these genocidal crimes took place.
