If what you are describing is a Constitutional convention which could add or remove things from the U.S. Constitution.it is the worst idea in history.....I see the voters of today and see backers of Hillary, backers of the communist Sanders and don’t want them anywhere NEAR the Constitution other than to read it.

That’s been my contention all along but I usually get shouted down.
The convention can only propose ammendments just like Congress - it cannot ratify them. ANything proposed must then go to the states for ratification.
