I do about an extra ten each month from pocket change...donations to honor sick or deceased FReepers...now we need an extra 12.38...it all seems important to me.
We are being taken advantage of...maybe????
In general because far more FReepers pay nothing than those who donate to the cause. I opted to go ahead and donate the full extra $50 next week because most of those who don't donate have no sense of propriety. Those who really can't afford anything (far fewer than if you listen to their tales of woe) may be embarrassed to speak up.
At any rate - the rest of us do what we can.
