I hate voting by mail and most of the other "absentee voting" schemes.

700,000 absentee ballots out of 4.6 million cast seems like too high a percentage to me. All those people could not trouble themselves to be at the polls on voting day?

Even here in the U.S., we need to reign in this absentee and "early" voting. There should only be two reasons for absentee voting. Military service and legitimate business travel. Otherwise, be there on Election Day.

I’m in 100% agreement. Early voting is ridiculous. Voting by mail is COMPLETELY ridiculous. Absentee ballots need to be handled exactly as you stated.

If they’re worried about precincts being swamped, make more of them! We pay more than enough in taxes. Make more frigging space! If paper ballots are used, then there is no need for expensive machines or other nonsense!

This isn’t frigging difficult!!! With some basic frigging guidelines, you can make voting ridiculously easy and virtually corruption free! It is so blatantly obvious they want this process to be made difficult on purpose for corruption purposes!!!! Moreover, the additional ways of voting means that there are additional ways to cheat!!! Ugh I am so sick of liberals!

I think we should have 2 days for elections. One of those days being Saturday.
