I got my sample ballot in the mail today, which shows the layout of the machine and location of the parties and candidates. One curious thing, though. On the Republican section there is a check box and short instruction for a write-in vote on the presidential line. It is missing from the Democrat section. Hmmm...

NJ is not "irrelevant". Trump needs EVERY delegate, in order to forestall GOP-E dirty tricks. If Trump just has 1237 delegates, each non-bound delegate will feel pressure from the GOP-E to flip. If Trump has over 1400 delegates, then it's much less likely they will try games.
