You might be right, but I tend to interpret their behavior as more cynical. Andrea Mitchell and Chuck Todd are not complete imbeciles (well, at least not AM). They have access to the same information we do (probably much more), and therefore have to have known all along that Hillary is lying. As Democrats, they just don’t care.
Little in the IG report is new, but it puts in full public view overwhelming, undeniable evidence that Hillary Clinton is lying, and that she willfully violated rules, laws and common sense to evade FOIA requirements and hide things she does not want the public to know. (Must be important things to take such risks.) Pretending Clinton is innocent at this point would destroy their illusions of “credibility”, and lucrative careers. To them, Hillary has screwed up big time by being caught so clearly. My dream is that the Hillary Wall of Silence has been breached, making it impossible for DoJ not to indict her.
Hillary can not lie straight out any more than a rattle snake can coil straight. She is crooked and will be crooked unto death.
They'd be happy with a GOP-e commie president -- but NOT a president Trump who wants to enforce the law, Make America Great Again, revamp our lopsided trade agreements, bring back jobs to America, ensure American national security, etc.
I think Hillary is going to pick Joe Biden as vice president at the dims convention. Then she can accept a plea deal, step aside and Joe Biden moves to the top of the ticket, elected by the convention and shutting out Bernie Sanders.
The FBI will, at some point, deliver a document with every bribe, every hidden nickel, every donor's location and what they received in return, and so forth.
Unless Obama is on the take FROM THE FOUNDATION (and I doubt that he is), Hillary, Bill, and Chelsea are not going to have the choice about what to do.
They will either take the deal offered by the Justice Department, or they will go to prison.
The deal will be generous, unreasonably so, but all three of them will have to retire from public life.
I agree with you.... Mika, Mitchell and Todd all had the same "turn out the lights, the party's over...." look on their faces.
I actually thought Andrea Mitchel's report wasn't bad, she seemed to show, with no apologies, quite clearly Clinton contradicted herself. Just sayin.
