President Barack Obama admitted that world leaders were “surprised” and “rattled” by the political rise of Donald Trump.
“I think it’s fair to say that they are surprised by the Republican nominee. They are not sure how seriously to take some of his pronouncements, but they’re rattled by him, and for good reason,” he said. “Because a lot of the proposals that he’s made display either ignorance of world affairs or a cavalier attitude or an interest in getting tweets and headlines instead of actually thinking through what it is that is required to keep America safe and secure and prosperous and what is required to keep the world on an even keel.”
Obama made his remarks during a press conference held in Japan at the G7 summit. He said that it was clear that world leaders were paying close attention to the election, because of the country’s position in the world.
“The United States, as I said before, is at the heart of the international order,” he said.
Even countries that didn’t like the U.S., he explained, knew that the world was in trouble if Americans were not providing stability in the world.

I find Obama’s new obsession worrying. He is not going to allow President-Elect Trump to ascend. Something is going to happen and is likely to be a state of emergency by then; it won’t be contrived either.

Decades have been spent finding the right AMERICANS to bribe... (to buy THEIR speeches and books)- - ALL that effort - out the window.
Ex-military - old State Department types... wives of former Presidents... hell EVEN former Presidents... Out the window - all that effort - all that money.
AND the indignity of being forced to pretend the millions of dollars weren't really bribes after all... forced to hire people who couldn't speak English to fill up rooms for "American dignitaries' so their 'speaking fees' wouldn't be seen as bribes.
And now they'll have to start over?

The irony of Obama saying this about someone else is overwhelming. Seeking "tweets and headlines" is what Obama's all about. Ignorance of world affairs or a cavalier attitude? Fits Obama perfectly. "Tweets and headlines"?

For which we are to some important issues very much in the wrong and need to step down. Transnational queering and neocon adventures, for example. Janissaries to the House of Saud, the EU, and NATO, for further examples.
They are rattled because they know he is going to bring America storming back to a leadership role, and that they will no longer be able to just run roughshod over us.

I think the world was more shocked at the fact a foreign born community agitator with 111 days as a junior senator from the midwest was ever elected president, despite having zero accomplishments on it’s resume.

I would hope so!!! The world needs to be rattled by someone soon or the spark of Liberty will be extinguished by the socialists and dictators in the rest of the world forever!!!
