Dutch police do not believe that the stabbing Monday of a Jewish woman at a kosher café in Buitenveldert, Amsterdam was anti-Semitic, according to Dutch news station AT5.
It is not yet clear what motivated the stabbing, which took place at southern Amsterdam’s Grand Cafe Rimon, though the culprit is believed to be mentally ill. The possibility that the attack was motivated by anti-Semitism created turmoil within the Amsterdam Jewish community. Authorities are now investigating the case. Although the extent of the victim’s injuries are not yet known, she was reportedly in stable condition when transferred to the hospital.8:20
According to witnesses, the victim was stabbed in the arm, although what events, if any, led to the stabbing are not yet known. The suspect has since been arrested. Police could not confirm whether the victim and assailant knew each other beforehand. Waitresses at the restaurant said that the attacker did not speak Dutch.
Buitenveldert has a Jewish community of several thousand people, according World Jewish Congress.

May not have been an antisemitic attack, but it's surprising how many terrorist acts are ascribed to mental illness. Wonder what the attackers have in common causing this plague of mental illness.

The article is a little short of information on the attacker. Could they be Muslim, by any chance??? In which case, the “mentally ill” label is accurate.
We repeat, this person was ONLY mentally ill and even though he calls himself Achmad (don't know this yet), there is no connection to his Islamic hatred of Jews and this particular stabbing.
We in Holland have no migrant or Islamic problem, I repeat, we are all ok. Move along folks, nothing to see here...

“The attacker, a Brazilian native, was sitting in the Grand Café Rimon, a dairy restaurant, Monday evening, when he reportedly went to Jumbo, a nearby grocery, and bought a knife. He quickly returned and stabbed Vicky Waremholt, a Jewish woman from Sweden, using the knife he had just purchased.”
Note: Brazil has less than 1% Muslim population ($1M out of 162M people).
Oddly enough, a lot of attacks that I would blame on liberalism is often attributed to mental illness.
