I understood the gist of the Secretary’s comments. But they were horribly naive.
Wait time IS part of the experience. And all that I’ve read about Disney Parks is that EVERY thing is managed, including wait times, so that guests have a good experience.

You can bet the farm, DIS knows exactly the wait times all across the park.
They are a service industry, without happy customers they would swirl the drain.

I just got back from my first trip to Disneyland, during school vacation week no less. There are ways to reduce wait times. By the second day we had figured them out — including getting a “reserved” time, sometimes within an hour, sometimes hours later; the wait for the “reserved” tickets was no more than 20 minutes; getting there early, and splitting up - there are single rider lines which go pretty fast.
In conclusion I thought waiting in line would be a major drag, but it was not.
