When 1000s of Africans looted and burned Ferguson, MO, getting away with the theft of more than a million in goods, and arsonists that caused millions more in damage, there weren’t but a dozen ever arrested. Thousands escaped any penalty at all. I’m sick of it and it was all based on lies.
Nobody builds or rebuilds in those areas, so government dollars are pushed into it with projects that don’t improve anything. Newark NJ built the Bears stadium (a quasi-minor league team, unaffiliated with any professional team) and now it is abandoned - they folded. Camden NJ received the USS New Jersey as a museum and the state built the state aquarium next to it, but you drive through Beirut to get to them - completely abandoned block upon block of urban decay.
