Exactly right. Even though it became obvious in 2008 that Obama was going to win, Crooked Hillary hung in until the bitter end, clinging to her super delegates and the slim hope they would save the day. By late May, they started to trickle to Obama and by early June, the Hildebeast finally gave up.

The super delegates can change anytime. While this time Crooked Hillary is slightly in the lead on won delegates, she has lost 11 or 12 of the past 14 contests and looks to get crushed by Bernie in California. This is not an inspirational way to close out the campaign season. For her hard core followers, this has been a soul crushing experience. She is flat, listless and ready to keel over.

Bernie has a decent chance to pull close to even with her in won delegates after California. There are 712 super delegates. It will look awful if 600+ of them still vote for her after her dismal performance.

That was a simply excellent summation. Sanders has ALL the excitement and momentum, while Hillary has Debbie Wasserman Shultz, fraud, and a passel of superdelegates that have turned on her once before. Now Sanders is talking about how Philadelphia could be “messy.” I’m sure it could get better than this for Trump, but offhand I don’t see how. He’s agitating the Dem base about how Sanders is getting shafted, and he’s needling Hillary mercilessly on her inability to seal the deal. And he’s just getting started.

It will be fascinating to see how this plays out. The DNC clearly doesn’t want Sanders. Clinton, as you said, is flat and loosing what little steam she had. Biden only looks good because Trump hasn’t had a go at him yet. And Trump is salivating over the chance to eviscerate Liawatha Warren.

It looks like Obama’s immediate legacy is an electoral disaster. Time will tell.
