Well she did prove vegans can also die on Mt Everest.
All vegetarians and vegans know about amino acids and complete proteins. All amino acids which are necessary for humans to function are available from plant sources. There is one the name of which I don’t know that is available only in animal tissues, dairy products and soybeans. This is why vegetarians and vegans love their tofu which is made from soy. The big nutritional deficiency in vegan diets is Vitamin B-12, which must be gotten from animal sources or supplements.
I may find fault with her dietary choices - but she has more backbone than most of us when she attempted to climb that mountain.
Seriously, did anyone ever question whether a vegan could do high altitude climbing? As long as they can get sufficient nutrients and calories from their diet (which I’m sure they can), why would what they eat matter?
I wouldn’t either.I could stand to lose a few pounds, but there has to be a better way.

I’d argue he was a mess simply because he allowed her to try that stunt. Hopefully she hadn’t earlier tried to prove that ‘Vegans Can Have Kids’.

It’s more like their soft tissue slowly evaporates (or sublimate, to be precise) up there. They start looking rather gross...but yes, they are probably very good landmarks.
And bringing them down is an incredibly difficult task, as even the best climbers and Sherpas are operating right on the edge of human capability...so add a 180 pound stiff, and I cannot even imagine the difficulty.

At that altitude, without oxygen, you die fast.
Some mountaineering aficionados want to die young.

Back in high school for my sport I had liver, bacon and onions once a week - loved it. (Still do, but nobody can cook it like my mom could!)
Add Brussels sprouts and you h as ve the perfect meal.
