I remember Chief Nocahoma in Atlanta. He would go out to the mound and do a dance and then bolt running into the outfield to eventually get to his teepee out in the bleacher seats.
I remember that he was a very big guy but he could get up a head of steam when he wanted to.

Football is a game of violent physical contact. The Indians of old were brave warriors. To give a name of Redskins to a football team is honoring those brave warriors.
I am not an Indian. If I were I would be honored by the name of Redskins for a football team.
What the hell is the problem?

Speaking of God, isn’t there a movement in San Francisco to change the name of that city due to its religious (and imperialistic and racist) implications?
The Offended will probably start with California towns (Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego...) and work across the nation (St. Louis, Sante Fe, Columbus...). Even the state of Maryland must be renamed, I don’t dare imagine as what?!

It was the same with the North Dakota thing. The local Lakota tribes were cool with it for the most part. Didn’t stop the NCAA from yanking their sports program’s name.
Doesn’t fit the liberal narrative. Must be squashed by any means necessary.
