I’d *LOVE* to see the heart-attacks that would happen IF any candidate proposed that!

“If the regs were worthwhile, Congress can make them Law. Let Congress debate them before the People, for it is them that must carry the burden.”

No more shrugged shoulders, no more, ‘We TRIED’. Directly tied to each Yea/Nay vote for the voters to see, and act accordingly.

Yes and there must be a complete turnover in Congress to accomplish that.

If it takes getting a term-limits amendment on the fast track to do that, so be it. But the people of this country have got to stand up and jettison the career politicians out of Washington.

BTW, my shtick on career politicians:

A career politician should be presumed a corrupt politician and if the presumption is rebuttable, the politician must rebut with clear and convincing evidence.

Definitions:

Career politician: one who holds elected office for more than eight years.

Corrupt politician: one in elected office whose main objective is his own political future and not the future of America or his constituents.
