HERSHEY, Pa. — A Pennsylvania amusement park that is a popular attraction for families with children has announced that its internal policies allow visitors and employees to use the restroom that correlates with their “gender identity.”
Hersheypark officials released a statement on Friday outlining that its restroom accommodations have already been in place and will continue.
“We recognize that the more perspectives we have within our company, the more welcoming we are to all those who visit and seek employment here,” said Public Relations Manager Kathy Burrows. “In fact, our company has four core values, one of which is ‘respectful of others,’ which we define as treating all people with dignity, while respecting their differences and ideas.”

I live 40 minutes from the park. They were playing their 30% off commercial ad this morning, for those who by tickets by the end of May.
I was literally planning to ask my (older) kids if they’d be interested in going back to relive some of our memories of years past.
Thank, you Hershey Park. You just saved me $200.

Just be very careful folks.My daughter was sending her 14 year old daughter with the 2 younger sisters to the bathroom.An it walked by that was a male dressed as female.The bathroom was within eyesight.It walked up to the ladies room while my grandgirls were inside and the adults started walking over.It saw them and and changed it’s mind and walked away.This was at a crowded bowling alley with lots of children’s Birthday Party’s going on.This just happened on Sunday.
Hershey has been on my ban list (19 single space pages of LGBT sponsoring businesses) for quite some time.
So boycott Hershey Entertainment and Resorts - but eat your chocolate.
If a guy is stupid enough to want to stand in line to get a women’s stall instead of getting in and out of a men’s room, he deserves his just desserts. He can take my place in line if I can use his stall.
We don’t buy ANY of those...thankfully.
I’m a local who would drop off kids for the day during the summer while I’m at work. Not now.
I just called to let them know. Others should do the same..

Yeah, you’re right, they just never can leave well enough alone. There was a lot to be said for “Don’t ask, don’t tell”.
The simple thing is that now a man can simply walk into a women’s restroom in jeans and a tee shirt and not be challenged.

All this perfectly illustrates is the wholesale merging of corporations and government to push an agenda. They are one in the same.
This is also why you hear virtually nothing from the so-called right. Because in the final analysis they are corporatist lackeys and they know where the money comes from.
Hershey Park is changing the name along with this new policy.
It will now be known as Fudgepacker Park.
Look for them to go broke soon. Creating a place for children and then cutting them off from the safety and security they need, is an open door for exit as well as entrance. Especially since they used the words using the facility they identify with. So they can enter any way they want and I can promise you the kids will get scared to death and run out on their own if the father is not with them and flattens the first guy who looks at his son or daughter that can be determined by him to be unnatural.
And you can’t tell me the kids won’t get scared because when I was running a fitness facility for the Air Force, a section 8 transgender walked into the men’s locker room in a sun dress complete with hat, umbrella and gloves and that locker room emptied in about 1 minute. And if you think the kids can do better, your parenting skills are in demand.
