The American College of Pediatricians reaffirmed the biological differences between men and women and condemned the idea of teaching kids early on that gender identity is fluid as "child abuse." In a preliminary statement released on Monday, the group of over 400 pediatricians nationwide listed eight points explaining their position scientifically.
"Conditioning children into believing a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse. Endorsing gender discordance as normal via public education and legal policies will confuse children and parents, leading more children to present to “gender clinics” where they will be given puberty-blocking drugs. This, in turn, virtually ensures that they will “choose” a lifetime of carcinogenic and otherwise toxic cross-sex hormones, and likely consider unnecessary surgical mutilation of their healthy body parts as young adults."
In the past few years, books and TV shows promoting transgenderism have been targeted toward children and young adults, with the goal of reaching people before they are old enough to question the ideology of self-described gender. This is to say nothing of Bruce "Call Me Caitlyn" Jenner, the former Olympic athlete turned transgender icon. The American College of Pediatricians seeks to reverse this trend, and has data to back up their objections to it. "Facts -- not ideology -- determine reality," the statement declares.
Here are the eight points made by the college, in plain language:
1. Humans are male and female, biologically.
Science is straightforward about this: a person's DNA either has two "X" chromosomes or one "X" and one "Y". These are "genetic markers of health -- not genetic markers of a disorder." Scientifically, human sexuality is "binary by design" with the aim of reproduction. Disorders of sex development (DSDs) are "rightly recognized as disorders," and those who suffer from them "do not constitute a third sex."

Parents, teachers, or anyone who takes a child and tries to make them into something of their imagination, are child abusers. There are so many bad parents out there who mistreat little ones. Sick adults infecting little children with their sick minds.

Interesting that the medical community is giving pushback on transgender. Maybe this will help reverse the laws and rulings that embrace transgender, instead treating these people as sick, which they are.
Because this is a hot topic this information from a group of 400 Pediatricians is relevant in light of Obama’s latest directive. It even suggests without actually saying so that Obama is contributing to the abuse of children.
I’d say that’s big news!

I have a sibling that is transgendered I love my sibling but it is a mental illness and should be treated as such...political activist are damaging any child that has gender confusion when they foster the confusion. most children that are gendered confused if left on there own grow out of the confusion . a few like my sister start tackling it emotionally later on after child hood. my sister started talking about it being all right to be a masculine woman when she was about 24 then at 26 she decided to refer to herself as a man. she lives as a man today and can not except that this is mental illness.

“Child abuse” is allowing daughters to use Target dressing rooms and bathrooms.
Mothers who allow a young daughter to take off her clothes in a Target dressing room should be investigated for abuse.
No child is capable of making a decision to switch ones gender. It is a parent's responsibility to raise their children to their biological gender. Once they become adults, then they are on their own.
I do not think it is uncommon for boys to desire to be girls. From a boy's vantage point, girls have it much easier. They do not have to help Dad with the yard work outside or do anything else strenuous or demanding from a physical standpoint. There is no pressure on girls to perform well in athletics. They get to wear comfortable clothes and flip-flops to school when it's hot outside. Girls (more than boys) are generally sheltered and protected. They do not have the pressure of having to learn a trade when they grow up and be a breadwinner for the family. It is not a bad thing if a girl states she just wants to forgo a career and stay home and take care of the house, in a submissive role with her parents or her husband. Of course, girls have their own kind of pressures and stresses to deal with but those are not apparent to a young boy who only sees the upside of being a girl.
It is the responsibility of the parents to guide that boy appropriately and develop him into a man. Not to let him put on a dress and pretend at being something he is not and can never be.
Would it be impolite to suggest the perverted liberals (of course I am repeating myself) pushing this trans bathroom issue should be skinned alive and placed on a fire ant hill?
It is far worse than that now. Damn near everything that qualifies as children’s ‘entertainment’ these days features girls being the heroes. The girls are the ones who act like alpha males, do the fighting, win the day, while the boys are acting like losers hanging in the background.
It’s a huge uphill battle to raise a boy these days. Looking at some of these movies/tv shows, etc, it’s no wonder to me that some boys want to be girls.
Many people who are against the bathroom ordinance hold no animosity toward men who dress as women and women who dress as men.
For decades those men have used the women's bathroom with no problems. The men never cause any issues and it's good they have a safe place to go.
It was the activists who started this mess - the Democratic mayor of Charlotte, Jennifer Roberts and her co-conspiritor who is a registered sex offender. They're the crazy ones.
