That whole thing about the birds was also a big lie.

Well, either that, or breed a super hungry killer-Dragonfly, that needs 50- 100 times its body weight daily to survive.

Release them as needed.

We have some big-@$$ black ones up here, they grab the mosquitoes right out of the air.

You’re right... and at the time the program was stopped they were within months of eradicating the mosquitoe forever. Something like 18 months or less...

Millions of people worldwide have suffered and died from horrible diseases based on this early liberal lie... now millions more will suffer from Zika. Sometimes it feels liberals are evil... really.

“Also telling how any mention of MB in US political circles gets quickly shot down.”

Michele Bachmann exposed the Muslim Brotherhood connection to Obama and Washington and shortly after, after being ridiculed in the Media(SOP of the Leftist Media against ALL Republicans/Conservatives in public life), she left politics and disappeared from public view.

BTW, it’s been known for years the MB was the father of Islamofascism but that fact mysteriously vanished from Media discussion the day after Obama took power.

We live in seriously dangerous times.

Thanks for your insights. Much appreciated.

Agree this is as much about Brand protection as it is getting the real facts out there to come up with a way to protect “ the people” who have a right to expect a worry free way to travel...

I enjoy hearing about voter fraud in the Dem primaries. They are so corrupt, they even use it against one another. It is their SOP for elections.

I've heard the mantra, openly stated, and from their own mouths: "Vote early and often".

Remember that well. Buried in the annals of MSM duplicity

Well, kudzu was introduced to shade porches and stop erosion in the South... and we all know how well that worked...

Kidding - maybe monster dragonflies can do the job... they’d be better than mosquitoes.

Even before she was anointed as SOS, she failed at bringing America ShrillaryCare.

Well, her harpy minions brought it to Maine....in 1993...and most of the communist Northeast.

whatever the current mix is.

It looks like the pesticides "naled and permethrin" were killing rare butterflies, so Florida scaled back spraying starting last year.

All they really need to do is, spray some type of oil on the surface of the water so the mosquito larvae can't breathe. Of course the EPA will find fault with any type of compound to be proposed because....

They are trying to kill you.

Hot Water for Itchy Bug Bites

http://www.peoplespharmacy.com/2009/08/01/hot-water-for-itchy-bug-bites/

…a couple of seconds at most. Either expose the skin very briefly to hot running water or use a hot washcloth for a second or two.

. . . . According to the dermatology experts from the 1960s, the hot water “short circuits” the itch reflex. In other words, the nerve network in the skin gets so overloaded by the heat stimulus, the urge to scratch is abolished for up to three hours. You will be amazed at how fast the relief occurs. ..........

Some from the Comments:

This remedy is so true, I stumbled across this happening to me one day while showering and the hot water hit the mosquito bite, it was very soothing and the itch stopped immediately. So now that’s my remedy for insect bites that are not infected. AND IT WORKS, I JUST DID IT TODAY AND IT LAST FOR SEVERAL HOURS, I HAVE A BITE ON MY LOWER ARM SO I JUST PUT MY ARM UNDER HOT RUNNING WATER IN THE SINK. GREAT RELIEF!!!

Hot water is the best relief, I have also tried soaking in a tub with epson salt with hot water and it works wonders.

I found out about this quite by accident and have found it to be the best way for mozzie bites (not sure about other types of bites though). Boil water, let it sit for a few minutes, dip towel, and dab for few seconds on the bite (as long as I can bear). The itch is gone for good. If it does return, just repeat. When I need to repeat it, I reckon it’s times where I don’t hold it there long enough. I had no idea it’s about short-circuiting the nerves. I thought it was to do with changing the form of the protein, which is what (I remember) causes the itch.

Here is something else to try with an itch. Instead of scratching it hard, scratch (more like rub) it very lightly for a minute or two, avoiding the urge to press harder. The itch will very slowly dissipate.

Thanks for the comment. It didn’t register with my memory so I’ll keep an eye out for it in the future.

I believe it’s criminal that more people died because of the elimination of DDT than DDT itself.

And, you’re right. Damn liberals anyway.....

DDT always works. It could save millions of lives in Africa now but the powers that be don’t want that. the problem for us herein the Keys here is that some of the bugs start to get immune to it and we have to constantly change formulas.

I’m a big bird-watcher.

When I read Rachel Carson’s “Silent Spring” I was a liberal what fell for it.

Oh my, I sobbed, DDT is making the birds’ eggs too thin. The eggs are crushed by the weight of the mother’s incubating, something that wouldn’t happen because of the DDT.

They even made raptors an endangered species because of the stupid book...eagles, hawks....that kind of thing.

But I was a boo hoo liberal and so in Africa, a country/continent that could not care less about birds for God’s sake, ban DDT.

So the humans begin to all catch malaria and the corrupt dictators in charge find out that all kind of money rolls in to help the malaria victims, which they get to keep most of.

The birds never entered into it and, in fact, it was all a lie.

A much deeper and more nuanced subject than you might think.

Now there’s too many damn raptors....although I love them all.
