Yes, but the fact is that Wahabbism IS Islamic conservative ideology -- they want to return to the 7th century Islam. American and Christian conservatism want to return to the founding fathers or early Christian lifestyles -- and there is a big difference between the Moslem conservatism and decent (American or Christian) conservatism
