How did he earn his first million?
Basically, I picked up that he was a con man. He was fired from his first job but turned that to his advantage.
If this is true from his Wiki page, he made billions off Yahoo being a bunch of idiots before the dot.com bust .........
“By 1999, Broadcast.com had grown to 330 employees and $13.5 million in revenue for the second quarter.[28] In 1999, Broadcast.com helped launch the first live-streamed Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.[29] That year, during the dot com boom, Broadcast.com was acquired by Yahoo! for $5.7 billion in Yahoo! stock.”

Only during the dot.com bust would you have heard of $52 million companies selling for $5.7 billion.
He had a partner with Broadcast.com. So if Cuban took about $3 billion from that sale, it should be worth a lot more now, right? He’s still worth a little less than $3 billion.
He hit the lottery but has done little else since.
The Mavs have never cut a profit since he bought them. Ross Perot, Jr. was upset enough about that to file a law suit against him.
In other words, he never “earned” his first million.
Yep, Cuban founded Broadcast.com, then sold it to yahoo...for $5.7 billions.
Broadcast.com actually originated from Cuban's desire to listen to broadcasts of his alma mater's basketball games (Indiana U.). He developed an app that allowed him to listen in over the internet via his computer -- i.e., streaming.
The first thing he did upon cashing in was buy the Dallas Mavericks, whereupon he lost interest in everything else.
He's a moonbat lib, investing in movies like Redacted -- which portrayed American soldiers in Iraq as brutish thugs.
Whyever Mitt Romney and William Kristol would try to recruit Cuban to run on the Republican ticket is one more indication of their cluelessness.
