The Senate Armed Services Committee is embracing some TRICARE fee increases proposed by the Obama administration, particularly for working age retirees and their families. But it links those fee hikes to some surprising and long overdue improvements in patient access and quality of care.
This is a far different and seemingly less strained approach than adopted by the House, which would delay most TRICARE fee increases for a generation so they impact only persons who enter the military after 2017 and begin to retire after 20 years or more.
On TRICARE fees alone, military beneficiaries almost certainly would prefer that the House provisions prevail when a conference committee meets to iron out differences in the two versions of the fiscal 2017 defense authorization bill. But Democrats charge that the House only was able to defer hard decisions on military compensation by voting to fund just seven months of Iraq and Afghanistan war operations next year.
Going after veterans again. Is that the only tune they know when it comes to cost cutting?

It’s past time for We The People to take names of those in Congress allowing this and get them out of office at the first opportunity.

The truth is that it isn’t hard for the power brokers with vast sums of money to organize to control only 435 seats in the house and 100 seats in the Senate.
Even PRIMARYING a member will generally result, by the power broker’s design, in half a dozen or more competitors of which half or all are STILL their people.
With only 535 slots to worry about, these people can easily dedicate 1 million bucks to controlling the conversation and the candidates in that particular area.
The only way to overcome such moneyed elitism is with a true movement of people sick of it. A true movement could overturn the House in just 2 years. Replace them all. They are all suspect.
Replacing the House and Senate GOP leadership would be a good start.

Try to Get Care pertains to the entire country! DeathCare has destroyed our medical industry. Good doctors have retired rather than deal with the Liberal crapola. Third-world witch doctors are left. Appointments take 3 months depending on the specialty. All doctors do today is hand out prescriptions with garbage that cause side effects as bad as whatever you went there for.
