The Divorce Revolution Has Bred An Army Of Woman Haters
The Federalist ^ | May 19, 2016 | W. Bradford Wilcox

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d earn the ire of a character named Turd Flinging Monkey, the nom de plume of a popular online activist. A leader in the Men Going Their Own Way (MGTOW) movement, which encourages men to avoid romantic relationships with women, Monkey did not take kindly to my new Prager University video talking up the benefits of marriage for men.

In the video, I noted, among other things, that married men work harder (about 400 more hours), smarter (they’re less likely to quit without having found another job), and more successfully (they make about $16,000 more per year) than their single peers. I described these as features, not bugs, of married life for men.

“I’ve heard from a few younger white males that so many of the girls now days are just so trashy. It’s the younger women that are so often initiating sex. Many of these young women like to hook up with black guys for the sex. They end up having an Obama baby and then have a baby daddy for life. They wonder why no one wants them after living the ho life.

And this isn’t some poor uneducated community I am talking about. I guess so many of them spend too much time watching the Kardashians instead of having a clue.”

Sadly, this is more than true. I’ve dealt with this on many occasions. And its not white trash, it is usually a young, good-looking blond gal from a nice middle class family that didn’t want some dorky white kid that was on his way to West Point. Instead, she wanted Kanye or Jay Z. Then she cries to me and her family and can’t figure out why some good, hardworking white man won’t take in her and her three Obama babies that receive no financial support from their three different fathers because they are in prison.

Sorry to hear that your brother hired a sorry lawyer. And if your lawyer sole 8 grand from you, you should report him to your state bar.

A woman’s natural instinct is to dominate men. It just is, trust me. With the modern feminism movement, they now have the backing of the state to do so through:

1) No fault divorce
2) Domestic violence laws that can send a man to jail and take his 2nd Amendment based on the word of the woman
3) Disastrous financial consequences from divorce
4) Potentially being forced to pay child support for another man’s kid that was conceived during the marriage—yea buddy, check the case law out on that one!
5) Having their kids taken from them, only to see them every other weekend and a few holidays.

The man has EVERYTHING to lose in a marriage and the woman has EVERYTHING to gain. It’s a dangerous proposition. It’s about like forming a partnership with a few hundred grand tied up with a drunk, degenerate gambling partner—nothing could go wrong, right?

Sometimes the love stops being reciprocated. What happens then? Do you know how many men I have represented that worked 60 hr weeks, made the soccer game, provided the wife with a comfortable life style, etc. Only to have the woman find another man that “made her feel special.” What happens then? Answer: Woman takes half of the property, gets alimony, gets child support, and if the husband is lucky, she doesn’t accuse him of beating her or molesting the kids.

It’s not LOVE, it’s what happens after the LOVE ends.

Unfortunately all too real.

Had sheriff’s deputy escort in/out of the courtroom plus had multiple bailiffs in the courtroom.

Whoever heard of 3 bailiffs in a courtroom overseeing a divorce case? (two of them sitting behind my wife and her attorney...who currently has his license under suspension - for other violations but our case was part of what got the bar looking into him)

Sarcasm my ass, that's true!

My charming and delightful wife of almost 30 years said to me just the other day that I pay more attention to, and give more affection to our 12 year old labradoodle.

Speaking when I should've just kept my big mouth shut, I told her that the dog at least initiates love and affection when I walk in the door from work and is waiting for me with his tail wagging, only to roll over all four paws up in the air begging me to rub his belly (a sign your dog loves and trusts you.)

You can bet your last dollar she still isn't all four up in the air, waiting for me to rub her belly.

I cannot remember the last time I knew a Couple that had not lived together before getting Married. In fact, I know a few Couples that got Married after having a Child, not before or even during the Pregnancy.

There used to be a whole bunch of six Month “Full Term” Pregnancies in the day. Now they make Wedding Gowns with Elastic Waist Bands.

Heck, on this very Conservative Forum there are many people who choose to cohabitate with their significant other without the benefit of Marriage.

Not being Judgmental since I did the same over 30 Years ago. My Mother was not pleased and I’m a Guy. #;^)

That was never considered a Conservative Value but times have changed.

Time to face the fact that the goal of Marriage is becoming an afterthought in a Relationship, unless you’re Gay of course.

“Personally, I think “Eat, Pray, Love” should be read by all men as a cautionary tale as to why to avoid marrying American women.”

Exactly. It is the result of the no fault divorce. Feeling bored? Just get a divorce and travel around the world. No money? Don’t worry, a judge will make sure you ex-husband finances it.

“You just need to be more discerning in your choice of women is all. Choosing some woman who puts her career ahead of you is never going to work.
Just find the right woman is all.”

That of course, assumes that me or other men all share the goal of being married as women envision it. I am discerning in my choices. And I find the right woman once or twice a year. And its fun!

Why is it so impossible that I might already be happy already?

My wife of three years left me a few months ago. The pain only seems to increase as time goes on :( after She left, and during one of my “pleading sessions” she said she regarded the marriage as “an experiment” that didn’t work out for her. She seemed flabbergasted when I scolded her for using such a cold term. She said it in two occasions, thereafter. These women REALLY know how to hurt a guy :(

Why date man-hater feminists when you can go to an Asian massage parlor and indulge in the most beautiful AND FEMININE females in the world and be treated like a KING?

I have known some women who did that and they, no matter what they are wearing or what words they say, or their massage skills, are not liking you, the customer. So while your body gets what it wants, you don’t get any human connection that is real.

Better than being with man hating feminists, true, but still missing the most important thing in life. LOVE.

My answer to that, is Cypher's answer to the Agent in "The Matrix". 'You know, I know this steak doesn't exist. I know that when I put it in my mouth, the Matrix is telling my brain that it is juicy and delicious. After nine years, you know what I realize? Ignorance is bliss.'

I've come to the conclusion that love between a man and a woman is not real, it is imaginary, like something in the Matrix. Just like the massage from the Asian masseuse. Well, like Cypher, I'd rather settle for the nicer illusion.

I believe that most women love a man, not for who he is, but for WHAT a man can do for them. The only woman I think who loves a man is his mother.

Quite.
Just before meeting the future Mrs CTD, I was on track to reduce living expenses to near zero, and planning to let income do what it may.
Today, 13 years later, not so much.
