In 2013, Michael Turner saved the life of a 16-year-old girl who had been viciously attacked and stabbed in a Target store in Pennsylvania. And instead of thanking him for protecting its customers and preventing them from being murdered, Target is now suing him for his heroism and alleging he acted irresponsibly.
The attacker, Leon Walls, was convicted of attempted homicide for stabbing then-16-year-old Allison Meadows in 2013.
Security footage from the store shows Walls grabbing Meadows and stabbing her before Turner tackles the knife-wielding perp and chases him out of the store with a baseball bat.

Let me get this right. The stabber gets a pass by Target for assault with a deadly weapon upon one of their customers within their store premises; and, a citizen-witness of a prior felony assault by the same perpetrator, engaged in hot pursuit (citizens arrest implications), forced the second assault?

He saved a 16 year old girl from being stabbed to death. Explain to me how anything connected to that could even possibly be stupid?

Amen, He was already in the store doing the EVIL actions, Any Man that STANDS by when a Women(Girl) is attacked is NOT A MAN! He was and Will be 100% Correct in his Actions!
Read several of the articles, he(Michael’s) did enter the store after the attempted Killer with the bat in hand as far as I can tell. However the killer already had the knife in hand and attacked someone not related to anything, does that make Michael’s actions Wrong? Or was it the attempted Killers actions that were wrong?
Answer is Obvious.
I will add one other aspect to this, it is not any company’s responsibility for your safety from wacko’s, IE the Victim should not be suing Target as well as Target should not be suing the Hero. Well unless they can prove there was a legitimate reason for the attempted killer to attack someone unrelated to anything... God Bless

I would like to know how the hero is endangering customers?
How can the attacker attack others when some dude is getting ready to smash his head with a bb bat? Bb bats hurt a lot!
