The facts are not presented. Turner apparently chased Walls into the store armed with a bat.
We know nothing more. It seems Walls entered the store chasing the girl and was pursued by Turner. We saw no video of the men entering the store.
The question becomes did turner chase walls or did turner follow walls. If chase is the verb, Target has a case
If I was getting chased by a guy with a baseball bat, I don’t think the first thing I would do would be grab a young girl and assault her.
But that’s just me. . .
