Donald Trump effectively locked up the Republican presidential nomination on the night of May 3 when he won a sweeping victory in the Indiana primary. Ted Cruz ended his campaign that night. John Kasich followed suit the next day.
It's been 16 days since that night. And Trump, the least orthodox presidential nominee in modern political history, has made a number of very smart moves to coalesce the GOP behind him while also setting the terms of the general election fight to come against Hillary Clinton.

I’ll believe it when I see it. I keep reading about how the great and terrible Cruz is packing the NRC rules committee with NeverTrumps. So far there are be a whopping 5% of the eventual committee that might be NeverTrumps.
Let’s talk more about it in June...if I make it thatong that is. Seems I’ve gotten myself in trouble and am having my comments reviewed prior to posting now. Or maybe it’s just a glitch.
Pass along to those ‘insiders’... They mess with taking Trumps delegates, the party will pay on the ticket come November... I have already let my congress peep know...
