Enforcing Immigration Law is Ideological Policy. It’s just not the type Globalist Scum accept. They can accept their defeat or suffer the consequences of refusing to submit.

Robert Kagan is an idiot. Trump is just a messenger. Trump's supporters are supporting him because he is representing them, and giving voice to what they have been saying for about three decades. There is no "Trump cult".

Kagan claims to be a neo-con. That means he is a former Trotsky-ite Democrat -- a commie masquerading as a Republican. These people HATE the citizens of the USA. They HATE the US Constitution. Like their Democrat twins, they are genocidal maniacs toward the decent, productive, working American citizens.

And these anti-American creeps are just so shocked to be on the receiving end of the same sort of animosity.

Think how impossibly entangled in the cleft of the buttocks his undergarments will become when he sees the poll that puts Trump 5 points ahead..

These beltway “conservative thought leader” types in shock after turning around and discovering they were leading and army of none.

why should anyone blindly fallow a party or ideology. you look for the end result in politics. I was never a trump supporter I wanted Scott walker but he is not what I got. I now support trump. the reason should be self evident. if we allow the democratic party and Hillary to win. we are putting a criminal in charge of the white house.

Can't get much more establishment than Kagan is, and the piggies are starting to squeal. It apparently hasn't dawned on Kagan yet that the piggies squealing is the point of the operation. It isn't a cult of personality at all, it just happens to be Trump because he isn't them, and anyone else who isn't them - Bernie Sanders, to a lesser degree - is a similarly attractive focus.

Because it did not immediately and fully embrace Trump, because a dwindling number of its political and intellectual leaders still resist him, the party is regarded with suspicion and even hostility by his followers.

No. It's the other way around: because the party is regarded with a well-deserved suspicion and hostility, Trump happened. This is a revolution against a rotten, insular, self-serving system and Kagan and the rest of the usual mix - his Post, the NY Times, CNN, AP, ad nauseum - these have overstayed their welcome and are being shown the door. They haven't been booted through it yet but they will be if they don't get a clue as to what's really going on here. Neither Trump nor Sanders would be getting any traction at all if Kagan and his hadn't created it for them.

The Democrat establishment appears equally clueless, if it's any comfort. Fascism isn't Trump yelling he's going to tear the house down, fascism is a party framework that forces Hillary (or Yeb!) on an unwilling and disgusted electorate whether they really want her or not because the party knows best. It isn't even subtle anymore, and they aren't even trying to hide it.

and avowed commie/socialist/independent or a lyin’ POS who can lie to your face and smile while doing it.

The difference between Hillary! and Bill was that
Hillary is a congenital liar and Bill was a congenial Liar.

Bernie at least makes no pretense of who he is.

“His growing army of supporters no longer cares about the party.” If the oh-so-sacred party had done its job over the last few decades instead of going along to get along with the Dems and their agenda at almost every turn, Trump would have no following.

They are so freaked out that most of us are off the Uniparty bus and they know it. The whole operation has been exposed.

The republican nomination is just a vehicle. I think many of us no longer even consider ourselves republicans as we see that the party was stolen away from us by false conservatives. Feeding red meat on talk radio while the globalist agenda marched ahead.

"After 8 years of blatant Fascism from 0bama and his clown posse NOW this utter imbecilic wants to talk is about “Fascism”?"

It's because those who applauded it or condoned it while it was sticking it to their "enemies" are afraid the beast will now turn on them.
As much as I would love to have their fears realized after the crap they foisted with glee on the public, I'd like to live in the United States, thank you.

Business Insider finally named the root cause of the “un-nameable middle class malaise” that other papers complained about. Official inflation is 2%, but real inflation of food, housing/rent, utilities and medical costs is 3%. When your wages are stagnant or 10% lower, depending on class, while real costs are rising, you’re in a squeeze box - hence the anxiety and stress.
And support for the only candidates pointing out how illegal immigration competing for domestic jobs and migration of factories out of the country hurt employment rates without helping costs.

I think at the core that is what most Trump supporters want. We don’t want to live in Obama/Clinton/Sanders Noe-Facist “utopia”.

Just leave us the hell alone.

Republican politicians marvel at how he has “tapped into” a hitherto unknown swath of the voting public. But what he has tapped into is what the founders most feared when they established the democratic republic: the popular passions unleashed, the “mobocracy.”
There is no comparison between the behavior of Trump supporters and the Brownshirts. The comparison between BLM and Brownshirts is a horse of a different color.

Describing Trump’s rise in popularity with the electorate as “how fascism comes to America”, points to this; (1) the writer has no clue what facism is or (2) the writer is a lying liar.

Kagan endorsed Clinton back in February.

If I understand correctly, both Kagan and his wife have held positions in both the Bush and Obama administrations.

Given what Kagan's said and written over the years, he's living in a glass house when it comes to fascism.
