ISIS has executed 25 people in Mosul, northern Iraq, by lowering them in a vat of nitric acid, according to several local news reports. The men had been accused of spying on ISIS on behalf of Iraqi government security forces. According to witnesses, the 25 alleged 'spies' had been tied together with a rope and lowered in a large basin containing nitric acid until their organs dissolved.

"No group since August 1945 has deserved nuclear annihilation more than this bunch."

Very true. If I were President I would order it with no hesitation. The trouble is how to get them all together in one place so the bomb is most effective.

I think I’m going cultural relativist on this ISIS issue. We should simply judge any and all sociopaths by their own standards when we catch them, apply their sense of justice, jurisprudence, idealism. It is the perfect corollary to “multiculturalism” and shows the world that we respect alien value systems and are willing to adopt their way of thinking where appropriate. It would go a long way to changing the image of “Westerners” as imperialistically forcing our way of thinking upon the World. Sharia for the believers and allies of Sharia, it’s only fair...

I understand what you’re saying. Viewed in the context of ‘little baby rattlesnakes grow up to be big adult rattlesnakes’, a case could always be made for unleashing absolute genocidal destruction depending upon the nature of the enemy. When your enemy proclaims they will “kill or be killed” you’re not left with many options.

To be sure, Japanese children in that time frame were indoctrinated to fear, hate and seek the destruction of us ‘round eyed devils’ no differently than the children of North Korea are taught such twisted beliefs today.

Likewise, ISIS is certainly among the worst. ISIS and all of their supporters, sympathizers, and covert backers need to be literally wiped from the face of the Earth. There is NO socially redeeming nature within ISIS and by extension Islam as a whole.

The overwhelming destruction convinced the Emperor not to sacrifice his entire land for Bushido.

Those damn Bushes again.

Is a vat of nitric acid cheaper than a bullet or a blade?

It probably has less to do with the cost than the imagery to instill fear in the populace.

They are sending a message to future spies. Spy on us and you will experience intense pain. Meanwhile, a former US general proclaims that we need people spying on us so our enemy will not attack. Who do you think wins that game in the end ?

If every somewhat decent nation in the world participated with 100 soldiers each plus equipment they could eradicate ISIS within a month of assembled coordination. The only coalition OBammy can assemble is a group of his golfing buddies at a chic resort supplemented with taxpayer funds.

“ah so, they all real ah-so’s”

(Cue true humor from Japan ...)

A true story I was told many years ago, was that when Standard Oil first expanded their consumer-commercial business into the Far East, they constructed a number of ‘ESSO’ stations in Japan, and not only did they fail to attract very many customers, they discovered that Japanese motorists were LAUGHING at them.

Upon further investigation, they realized that the phonetic pronunciation of ‘ESSO’ in Japanese was equivalent to “DEAD CAR”.

THUS, it was decreed from way up the corporate ladder to find a word/trademark that had NO phonetic equivalent in any language, which is how the ‘EXXON’ trademark was born.

Don’t know if it’s true or not, but funny to contemplate. ;)

What did the women and children in Hiroshima deserve?

It's naive and childish to take the stance that there are "innocents" in a culture war, such as what we are facing now. It's suicidal to wage war thinking there are when your enemy has proven they feel otherwise. Contrary to what liberals think, that doesn't mean we go about indiscriminately killing people. It does mean that we put our big boy pants on, realize that some people who don't "deserve" to die are going to, and we take care of business in the most ruthless and efficient manner possible.

I guess it's easier to swallow when you've been told, bluntly by your own leaders, that you are expendable (in a life and death manner)in accomplishing the mission.

But we must not hurt their feelings, that might enrage them and cause them to do something REALLY bad.

ISIS is a cancer, it must be excised, poisoned, irradiated - ANYTHING that will destroy it. Because if it metastacizes, then we will really have a problem. The biggest problem is the Moose Limb sympathizer in the WH - he’s PURPOSELY implanting cancer cells in our nation’s body.

We are faced with millions of these soulless killing machines.

One million 'choosey' mothers(?) will employ a mass murderer this year to kill their unborn child.

This is part of what they use against us. Our own morality.

What MORALITY???

Our 58,000,000 dead may have a slightly different take on this.

If I were to tell this to a “peaceful Muslim” they would tell me that it never happened. This is made up to make Muslims look bad. I have found that they can explain away any autocracy that any Muslim has committed. Really, I ask myself, whose side are they on? Who would they side with if the terrorist were to attack us? They say that they are peaceful, but live in a la la land of every Muslim being lily white. It's every body’s fault except the fault of anyone who calls them self a Muslim. All Muslims are wonderful and pure and they never kill each other. It's all made up.

No. If Japan had fought its war honorably, instead of using its civilian population as cover from Western aggression, few would have died from the bomb.

Blame Japan, not the West.
