Charlotte Observer:Girls must overcome ´discomfort´ at seeing male genitals in locker room
American Thinker ^ | 5/17/16 | Rick Moran

A shocking editorial in the Charlotte Observer counseled young girls to get over the "discomfort" they feel at the sight of male genitalia when transgender facilities are allowed in North Carolina. The newspaper assumes the law will eventually be repealed or declared illegal. While that may or may not happen any time soon, it is the justification for this position used by the Observer that reveals the true nature of this battle of the bathroom. (snip) So, biological men enter the bathroom used by biological women and this is not threat to the privacy of women? What spaceship brought this alien

Why must they get over their ‘discomfort’ in order to help the jackwad who has his own ‘discomfort’ as his sole reason for forcing this issue?

That would be a great line.....the Democrats war on women. Someone send it to Trump. He can add it to Hillary and Bill Clinton’s war on women.

I guess “Rape Culture” is yesterday’s news for the Charlotte Observer these days.

I’ve said this before, but here goes:

A very wise FReeper once said, “There’s only one reason adults want to teach children about homosexuality”. The same goes for this bathroom/gender stuff. There’s only one reason adults want men in the women’s restroom.

I feel the same as you. Posters keep heralding a Trump presidency to restore order, whatever, but this nation is too far gone. Given our love of perversion and godlessness, short of a miracle, there's no way we'll ever be a righteous nation again. And I'm just amazed at how rapidly we're falling.

We were a nation of laws and values just 50 years ago, and look where we are. One can only imagine what the next 50 will bring.

“I sought for the greatness and genius of America in her commodious harbors and her ample rivers-- and it was not there... in her fertile fields and boundless forests-- and it was not there... in her rich mines and her vast world commerce-- and it was not there... in her democratic Congress and matchless Constitution-- and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”

Around 1840 by Alexis de Tocqueville, author of Democracy in America, a book which was assigned to the entire Republican freshman class of the 104th congress.

I also find it interesting that 0bama is pushing it on the schools, but not the airports, federal courthouses, federal office buildings, etc. It seems to be purposely aimed at YOUNG people.

Honestly, this makes me cringe. There is NO WAY that my girls would ever go to a public school, period. On another note, why aren’t millions of parents coming together and dealing with these bathroom and locker room issues?

Mixed facilities will be taken as an insult. “We said we’re women, dammit! Now let us in!”

Agree with your point here. It is similar to "bake the d*mn cake!"

I remember as a young adult getting off work at night and being scandalized by a guy driving right by me jerking off in the parking lot.

I am so glad I have no young daughters.

This is a whole new realm of trying to keep them safe.

If a man exposes his genitals on the street he is an exhibitionist (flasher) and will be arrested (even though this is considered a psychological disorder) for a criminal act.
However, now all the flashers of the world have to do is go into a women’s restroom or locker room, and the same offense is not a crime because they can use the “I’m self-identified as a woman” defense.

Can the police even ask him to leave? Apparently the Charlotte Observer would call this a breach of his constitutional civil rights.

Agreed. Time to stop voting for the idiots in office who propose this nonsense, and those in office who do not stop it.

How are the police going to deal with this and the court system etc.

It’s okay as long as he doesn’t touch himself for gratification - then it is some form of deviant sex related to minors??

It won’t stop even if sex education in schools becomes a context where homosexuals secure prey: young boys to recruit them.
