I recall all the happy talk about Mittens winning here by a landslide four years ago.

Its human nature to look at life with rose-colored glasses in the face of reality.

As we all know, Obama beat Mittens like a drum and it wasn’t close.

The demographics favor Hillary. In Blue State primaries, more Democrats turned out to vote than Republicans.

All we can say is Trump has come off pretty good on his way to sealing up the GOP nomination.

It gonna be a hard fought general election campaign and Trump is going to get his share of knocks.

If Trump is still leading in October, then we might be able to say he could be our next Prez.

Right now, its way too early to be cocksure about the outcome.

“Right now, its way too early to be cocksure about the outcome.”

It’s generally always way too early to be cocksure about the outcome of the Presidential race. That said, this is an entirely different election than any in recent memory, and Trump’s appeal goes very, very far beyond Romney’s. Further, the world has changed, and what has happened during this election cycle has changed the political landscape far more than we realize. The demographic trends and presumptive advantages the democrats have been counting on are now no longer something they can count on.
