They won’t allow hunting on Staten Island since there are no truly isolated areas. Even the deepest woods are full of hikers and dogs.
I think the only real option is to trap and eat them. Or relocate them

I have NEVER heard of a deer trap.
How about a bear trap hidden in your hostas? Might take off a leg but it would at least slow them down 25%!
