Of course it is natural to suspect Perry’s motives after his many failed attempts to pass his self off as a serious contender.
I think that Donald perceives some value with the possibility of including Perry in his administration.
I also believe that Trump has had an intense private conversation recently with Perry and showed him “just how he can be a genuine producer” instead of a bought and paid for politician.
It would be great for all concerned if Perry agreed to put his own ego aside and permit Trump to supervise and coach him in the “art of the deal.”
Trump like Merlin is now filling positions for his new apprentices. One thing we know a lot will be fired.
In the Senate race, we forfeit PA, IL, and WI off the bat; that drops the total to 51, and more seats are vulnerable.

It wouldn’t be a bad idea to include someone from Texas who’s held high office there. Maybe not for VP, though. I’m still hoping for Sessions or Hunter. Sessions’ demeanor as a southern gentleman would balance Trump’s brash “New York-ness” (which I personally love). And Hunter, being from California, could be powerful.
