I think the point others see in this is that it is decidedly not - repeat, not - over:
Cruz suspended, not halted, his campaign. (I immediately noted that when I heard him, and knew a Harvard lawyer would choose his word carefully.)
Beck and other prominent #NeverTrump media persons are meeting with #NeverTrump Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook this week - not last week, or the week before, or the week before that.
Cruz has announced he and his team intend to try to alter convention and primary party rules, to unbind delegates and/or eliminate open primaries.
I have not personally abused Cruz supporters, but I personally do not trust Cruz at all.
It is not over, and we are justified in being distrustful of both Cruz and his supporters. The convention has not yet taken place. Until Trump is the actual nominee, it is not over (which clearly is what his detractors are also thinking).
Perhaps you should consider these things before selfishly assuming that all anyone cares about is being pettily vindictive.
Let’s see if TC “restarts” his campaign on June 7 .... lotsa delegates that day. Wouldn’t surprise me if he shows up in the news that day, like the last 2 Tuesdays.
