Seat belt - it happens in Minnesota, along with other questions. It got so bad up there, I gave routine PC answers that would put Pajama Boy to shame.

Nothing says you have to tell the doctor the truth.
One of my doctors and I discuss guns almost every time I go. He tells me what his latest is and I make the appropriately impressed noises. I don’t think this is what the article was talking about though.
Think that’s intrusive and none of their business? My kids’ pediatrician asks that. Apparently it’s part of their questioning now so it’s not as if I could just take them to another one. When I take them I troll with all sorts of weapon names (some made up) so they have no idea if any of it is true or not.
I tell them "I don't talk about that. I don't want to spoil the surprise."

Best answer. Forget about all the silly counter questions and talk of boating accidents. Just lie and say NO. That’s how you survive in a police state. Watch the ghetto rats to learn skills that we will need to survive. If they get caught standing over a dead body with a gun in their hand and blood spatter on their face, they just automatically start with, “I don’t know what happened. I didn’t do anything. This isn’t my gun and I don’t know how it got in my hand.”

When we moved to TN I 2010, the form we filled out for our new doctor asked about guns in the house. We left it blank. (I expected better from TN.)

Unless you want to pay higher medical insurance and have huge deductibles.
The status of one’s 2nd amendment rights is no business of the doctors or the medical insurance companies.
If my doctor asked me, I would simply change doctors.

Smoking, sure. Diet and exercise, sure. But I’ve never heard of a doc advising anyone to wear a seat belt, so I call BS on that.
