They can’t help it. Power is far more addictive than heroin. They simply cannot live without that fix, until they finally learn that they can.
I have posted that before but I really can't relate to that thinking.
I have had positions of authority before and it didn't go to my head. I know some people that lived for that authority.
I have alway felt humbled being selected to lead and be responsible for important things. I did my best and did well but I am just as comfortable being on my own and not being "important." I guess some people have a low opinion of themselves and use that power to make up for their shortcomings.
