Men do not like rational women as much as bimbos. Bimbo is rewarded.
Men are also way too emotional themselves.
Since the Protestant Revolution, Luther’s teaching that women should be educated for church children and kitchen resulted in a deficient education for most women perhaps denying them rationality.
Solution?
I’m not sure that there is a solution - or that there necessarily SHOULD be. We (men vs. women) were designed differently ON PURPOSE. Part of that purpose was/is to have certain deficiencies, and to complement each other. It allows for us to grow, which is part of The Plan (not that we BE perfect, only that we give it our best effort to work toward that goal). A married couple SHOULD fill in all of the short-comings of each individual spouse. Thus, while men may be more rational (at least when not competing with other males for a female), they are also less compassionate. Both compassion and rationality are necessary. Of course, both sexes have some of each characteristic, and within each sex there is WIDE variation in the strength of those characteristics.
