"The fact of the matter is knowledge about Donald Trump is a mile wide and an inch deep," Guy Cecil says.
The coming ad assault against Donald Trump from pro-Hillary Clinton super PAC Priorities USA Action is likely to drill a three-pronged message deep into the minds of swing state voters, if the groups leaders have their way.
The three central tenets of the message will be that the real estate investor is a divisive character, that hes too dangerous to vote for, and that hes a con man, Priorities chief strategist Guy Cecil explained to POLITICO on Monday two days before the organization started its run of television advertising thats set to effectively stay on the air straight through Election Day in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, and Virginia.

I heard a "news" item on the Saturday ABC on-the-hour 10:00 AM radio "news". It went like this:
"Hillary Clinton released a new ad, attacking Trump's failure to release his tax returns". They then played the most potent excerpts from the ad. The next comment: "Trump has still not released his tax returns."
That was the "news". We can expect to see non-stop repeats of this for the next 7 months.
The biggest mistake Mittens and “W” did was to not fight back.
Trump has learned a few lessons:
-Even bad publicity is good.
-Not fighting back is really bad.
Americans want a winner, a champion to represent them, and politics is both entertainment and blood sport.
And the democrats have played the Alinskey rules for radicals against Republicans unopposed for forty years (”racist, sexist, homophobe”) since Dan Quale was Aliniskeyed. Now Trump is turning those tactics right back on them, and quite well I might add,,, and they don’t know how to handle it.
The plan is similar to that of the defenders of Wake Island or the Alamo
Trump will drive home every rotten thing about the Clintons. He will go to the gutter, which is one of the main reasons for my tagline.
That’s not going to stop them, you know. Look at the NYT piece just in the past couple of days.
“Trump treats women badly, he’s a pig, a misogynist, blah blah blah”
Mainstream media coverage of the woman who briefly dated him telling the NYT they were a bunch of liars - nothing.
Democrat playbook: keep attacking, even after attack has been proven to be a lie. And if you don’t have anything, make it up.
Trump should head off her attacks using the same messaging, it certainly applies.
If the libs fail to uncover (or manufacture) something big that the R’s missed, I’ll be very surprised.
I hope it doesn’t work for her; bear in mind this is the same electorate that re-elected that failure Obama...
It seems to be working so far; he’s trailing with women for no good reason other than Hillary represents herself as a female.
