I’m looking forward to doing just that! How are you and your mom doing? Did y’all have a nice weekend?
Very cute, Sandy! :)
Whooooo..who..who!
Awesome WWII Story:

No diet ANYTHING for me! LOL! Artificial sweeteners give me a headache and upset my stomach. And they taste terrible.
I was fortunate to be blessed with a high metabolism and burn calories like crazy. It’s nice to be able to eat what I want and not have to worry about it.
And fortunate that carbonation doesn’t bother me. I sip on Cokes all day to wash my throat from all the “ick” from hayfever. Constant drainage. I guess the downside is being addicted to caffeine after all these years. :-)
Hey, whatever works! LOL!
Awesome indeed!
It went out in an email to friends. :-)
Thanks for posting the link!
Hi Kathy, Thank you!
Goin’ for the gusto.
Goin’ for the gusto.
Goin’ for the gusto.
My wife used to have a time share in Kauai and we would always go to the beach at Barking Sands. That side of the island was always sunny, even when it was raining on the east side. No crowds and no crime. I look forward to going back there and staying at the beach cottages.
Good job! I forgot to check! :)
WOOHOO!!
I waited to see if there might be a race for it. :-)
OK, you know of my laziness, see y'all later!
LOL! It is getting close to your bedtime, isn’t it?
Good night and sleep well. Have a good day tomorrow!
One day at a time.....I’m getting much better at biting my tongue, just listening to what is often not making any sense, and then walking away. Hallucinations are getting worse. I have an intercom in the living room locked open so I can hear if she needs help.
She just started talking to me now....out I go to the living room. “Did you see that on TV?” This is ongoing. She assumes I am always watching what she is watching. No matter how many times I explain, she doesn’t remember.
Her good run with her knees is over for now. Any walking is really difficult. I’m hoping that they will get some better. It’s happened before. These are the times when she talks about being with my Dad.
The weekend wasn’t bad, but it was constant up and down when she calls.
There you go admitting it again!
(((hugs)))
Would it be a good idea..with your knees kind of bad, too...to try to make her a room on the ground level? All those stairs!
Yep...one day at a time....
Thursday after work I take her for a haircut. She rides down the stair lift, walks to the other stair lift, and rides to the bottom of the stairs.
I meet her at the bottom with the push wheelchair and out to the car. Reverse when we get back.
