I actually have a signed copy of Webb's book, A Sense of Honor, about the Naval Academy around here somewhere. He signed it for me when he was SecNav.

Supposedly the protagonist was modeled after Oliver North who graduated with Webb's Class in 1968. Ollie lost a year due to injuries from an auto accident. Ollie beat Jim in a championship boxing match.
