Sounds like so much horsecrap. Among my Mormon friends, those who oppose and support Trump break down basically the same as my Lutheran and Catholic friends from North Dakota and Minnesota, where I grew up.

Those who are opposed don't even mention his immigration stance (which isn't all that different from Romney's stated views in 2012), they mention stylistic things-- he is rude, crude, impolite, etc.

The inner mountain west (home of most Mormons) and the Great Plains States (home of those who share their political views on guns, politeness, the importance of church activity, etc.) are remarkably similar on opposition to Trump.

Cruz would have won Nebraska's primary last week, easily, had there still been a contest. It is STILL not chic or stylish to declare yourself a Trump supporter at this point in that area of the country. They are still coming to grips with the fact that it is going to be Trump vs. Hillary. And neither demographic is going to vote for the anti-gun, anti-religion Hillary.

Dang! I'm in good company!

Those are VERy good excuses to IGNORE the blatant problems found in Mormonism.
