Thankfully, I made that trip many, many years ago when I was a kid. Another kid my age happened to be on the ship so we ran around all nooks and crannies half the night without a care in the world. At dusk, a tall ship passed us. Beautiful sight, silent and black, straight out of a pirate movie.
Sadly, today, we’d be huddled inside the cabin for safety the entire trip.
I cruised from Copenhagen to Oslo about 20 years ago-—lots of partying even then.
God knows what it’s like today.
