Berlin (AFP) - German police said Saturday they found a pig's head bearing an "insulting inscription" outside Chancellor Angela Merkel's constituency office in the country's northeast.
A police patrol discovered the animal's head outside the office in the Baltic sea town of Stralsund in the early hours of Saturday.
A spokesman for regional police refused to be drawn on the nature of the insults, saying only that they were directed at Merkel, who was first elected to parliament in Stralsund 26 years ago.

Perhaps they should gather outside Chancellor Angela Merkel's apartment and chant "This Is Our Country Now."
She can hand over the keys to her place and go sleep on the couch at the office.
Because she is smarter, more intelligent, has more empathy, why heck, she is just all around better than the grubby peonry of Germany.
No need trying to tell her what the rest of Germany wants, she already knows WAY more than anyone else.
They need to just cough up their taxes and let her tell them how to think about the poor "asylum-seekers."

I think the intellectual folks are still trying to analyze the action, and what it “means”. /sarcasm off
Now, I will say this....if this had been Kohl....he would have ran out....collected the head and rushed over to some butcher shop to have it all cooked up and served with onions.
After having followed your past blogs on the upcoming 2017 election there, I think this is another indication that Merkel’s party may lose big.
