Republican presidential contender Donald Trump has asked one of America's most ardent drilling advocates and climate change skeptics to help him draft his energy policy.
U.S. Republican Congressman Kevin Cramer of North Dakota - a major oil drilling state - is writing a white paper on energy policy for the New York billionaire, Cramer and sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.
Cramer was also among a group of Trump advisers who recently met with lawmakers from western energy states, who hope Trump will open more federal land for drilling, a lawmaker who took part in the meeting said.
Cramer said in an interview his paper would emphasize the dangers of foreign ownership of U.S. energy assets, burdensome taxes, and over-regulation. Trump will have an opportunity to float some of the ideas at an energy summit in Bismarck, North Dakota on May 26, Cramer said.

Another encouraging sign...
I'm a Trump skeptic, but this is a good thing.
Right now the DEC (stacked with Commie Lib Environmental Whackos) in Gnu Yak are “reviewing” fracking in Tioga County (NY) using propane and sand rather than water. Heads are exploding in Prince Andrew’s court...
Cramer sounds like the perfect guy: He endorsed Trump back in April:
He can do all that if he wants, Cramer said of Trumps climate position in a lengthy interview. But my advice would be, while Im a skeptic, as well, he is a product of political populism, and political populism believes that there needs [to be] some addressing of climate change.
Watch what Trump does, who he selects to join his team. That is the best indication of what a Trump presidency will look like. So far, so good.
Even a neutral, a revenue-neutral, carbon tax is inappropriate, in my view. But if we can have a very, very modest carbon tax to fund, again, the solution by utilizing fossil fuels like coal, I think even the industry would support that.”
Sounds like he would target making gains in clean coal with the tax. I could buy into that.
First, Sessions’ support, then the major pro-life hire, now this guy. Already 3 for 3.
Of course there is climate change - there always has been.
The hoax is that democrats have convinced many Americans that 4% of the earth's population has more power to affect the climate of the planet than the sun itself.
Whew! What a breath of fresh air. A POTUS who will want our own energy developed, and will not continue the AGW crock. That, and the various other positions he has stated, are a cause for optimism.
I hope like hell that they decide to completely shut down the EPA, sell the assets, and use the funds for rebuilding some of our infrastructure.
Bit late for that
GasFrac went bankrupt a while back...they developed fracking using a propane gell....better than water and recyclable
here is what a GasFrack fracking set up looked like:
This is outstanding.
There can be NO COMPROMISE on the globalist warming agenda. It is EVIL, GLOBALIST WMD attacking not only our economy and our sovereignty, but also the minds of our children.
It must be stopped.
I got a ticket to Trump in Bismarck!!
I was telling people I thought Trump would talk policy here, that it wouldn’t be a rally. Will be interesting!
Agreed and more. It is a front for agenda 21 which is communism rewilding.
Extremely evil. No property rights because land ownership is socially unjust. Etc.
Happening in Seattle, Portland and San Fran today where they are eliminating single family zoning.
That is a much more detailed graph, but it’s so busy that it’s main point is almost hidden, that is, it take too long to read and digest. The simplified graph makes only one point, clearly, and leaves lagging CO2 out of it. The point is, the last 10K years is a blip, meaningless, compared to the last 400,000 years, when ice sheets a mile thick usually covered most of the northern hemisphere, but when occasionally the polar ice caps were completely melted.
And all before factories or SUVs.
