I honestly think this was made an issue by the Obama administration with the intention of turning everyone into fools by capturing and repeating their quotes on the “bathroom” problem. House built in 1905 and no hot water. ....GrMother would heat to near boil two big kettles of water on a gas stove and carry them to the bathtub for baths. It works both ways. Clearly, their desire to accommodate “all students” who wish to self-identify one way or the other does not extend to girls who wish to self identify in a manner they do not like.

I think he will modify and expand that answer later. As it was, it was a “quick” answer, and he needs to learn that he doesn’t need to answer every question immediately. It’s Ok to get one’s thoughts together and answer an hour later.

As for ginning up discord, that's what a wedge issue does. Some number of Democrat voters will stay home or vote GOP because requiring junior high boys to shower with junior high girls simply defies common sense. How many will depend on how skilfully the party pushes the message.
