Well, there goes another political career that will never be relevant again

Nicki Haley - “I don’t want to be vice president.”

Trump - “I didn’t have her on my list.”

Cruz - “I don’t want to be on the Supreme Court.”

Trump - “What the hell is wrong with these people?”

Cruz has a future as a corporate lawyer/lobbyist. Probably starting at Goldman-Sachs.

The coat many fitted him with appears to be an ill fit.

I’m dusting off my crystal ball and looking into the future. I see Teddy in a courtroom as a litigator. Its the best place for an arrogant, opinionated blowhard who does not play well with others.

I posted the Cruz video several times......and indeed, the real Ted came through.

About the same time, I posted two videos of Trump...one with him lecturing Congress on the economy (which they appreciated)...and one with Oprah. He hasn't changed either....

but you can see the adaption from seated discussions to podium dissertations as a tough gig for him ......and dealing with thousands of nasties.

They had an old video today of Melania and Donald from right after their marriage in 2009. They went out for 5 years before that. They're just so damn lovely and respectful of each other.

That [courtroom litigator] or in some big firm [Goldman-Sachs, for example] legal department.

He pretty well burned his bridges for a political career. He only got 43% of the primary vote in Texas, so his Senate seat may change. He might also try another presidential run in 2020 or 2024, but he will find himself in the 1-2% also-ran group next time.

I had incredibly high hopes for Ted, going back to when he first appeared on the national scene and talked circles around Diane Frankenstein in the Senate. He was even my favorite along with Ben Carson leading into the primary. But at this point, I can barely stand to look at him anymore. Thinks he’s too good for VP or Supreme Court and only in it for himself.

Politicians always downplay positions other than the one they’re currently in or running for; e.g., downplaying the possibility of running for President in the future, of accepting a nomination for Vice President in the future, or of accepting a judicial or a cabinet nomination in the future.

Yeh I can’t see Cruz trying to challenge an incumbent Trump in 2020. After that he will be just another also ran.

No one trusts Lyin Ted....why would we want him as SCOTUS? To compete with John Roberts???

I guess he’s crying in his melted snowflakes....it’s either Prez, or bust for Lyin Ted. Whaaaaaa.

Cruz has questionable character after Iowa, he had to be involved with lies to hurt Carson.
He denies it, yet his actions confirm dishonesty.
He has been looking sleazy as of late.
He showed no respect for our vote.
He was willing to take a delegate anyway he could get it.
The man, in my opinion, is not fit to be a senator.
Wake up Texas!!!
