Unfortunately, history has a nasty tendency to repeat itself. I think that we're somewhere in the early 20th century at this point in the cycle, somewhere between the robber barons, the Bolsheviks, the influence of the marxists and progressive eugenics crowd.

I think that the people at the top (the 1% with the means) really want to do some global house cleaning, as in population reduction of the most extreme kind.

Look at it from this point of view: It's easier to conquer the masses if there are fewer of the masses around to conquer. And what better way to do in the masses than to convince them to kill themselves off.

Have read Shadow Men by Dr. Anthony Napoleon? I've read his books and follow him on twitter and this is essentially what he is saying.
