For years, the notorious North American Man-Boy Love Association was a regular participant in gay pride parades and the so-called leaders of the LGBT community had no problem with their presence. They only gave NAMBLA the boot when it became apparent the rainbow lobby was about to score major victories on gay marriage and related issues. At that point, their friends in NAMBLA became a liability. But based on past ties, there are still elements in the LGBT crowd that are tolerant and even sympathetic to pedophiles.
