Technically the first shot was Cruz suggesting to his donors that Trump might have the word temperament to trust with his finger on the nuclear button. A recording of that comment went public, and Trump took exception to it.

“Cruz is young. He’ll regroup and be a great candidate next time.”

Ted’s future career in government (doubtful as that currently looks) does not include a stint as president. He’ll never be constitutionally eligible.

Character is destiny.

So, no.

You have to be approved by the Senate for the S.C., and that will never happen for Cruz.

Ya. That would be a problem. No doubt.

Seems like a pattern with a few.

The continual packaging of this guy fooled a lot of people it appears.

Your post is ridiculous. (1) I didn’t imply or say that anyone is stupid. (2) I’m not trying to win anyone over to my side.

A bit touchy, aren’t we?

Oh; I had forgotten all about that. Cruz takes the first shot and Trump responds x2.

What’s ironic is that now everyone is well aware that Cruz’ temperament is far worse than Trump’s. It appears that when someone learns he truly isn’t anointed it can be a real bummer.

That’s a good point. Cruz going after Trump for a non-presidential temperament really is, in hindsight, ironic. Cruz’ behavior since he suspended his campaign has downright embarrassing. As someone remarked up-thread, will the tantrums never end?

So true and Cruz was the only GOP candidate accused of election fraud and dirty trix. What a tool! :-)

Yes, that’s true. One of the many similarities between Cruz and Obama is that while they believe themselves to be the smartest people in the room [which would be far more often true of Cruz than Obama, incidentally], they believe the rest of us are stupid. As in Cruz believing he could lie and cheat and we wouldn’t notice.

Well, Mr. Cruz, we noticed.
